Something larger companies have that you may not is a P.R. person or department who’s sole job is to attract the attention of the media in a way that is different than just having a social media presence. Think attention from bloggers/vloggers, newpapers, local and national publications, radio, and national and local news.  Nothing builds credibility, offers an immediate boost to sales, builds excitement, or offers bragging rights quite like a good article or press mention or news segment.
